The ISS Process
Step 1
Customer Request
A customer reaches out to ask about their next project. It can be anything from a custom paint rack to a product design or even a repair to an existing tool.
Step 2
Evaluation
Next, our team digs into the ask to figure out all the important details. This includes the purpose of the final product, any required modifications to existing items, and more.
Step 3
Planning
Now that we have all the facts, it’s time to hit the drawing board. Our team of engineers and designers collaborate to create the most reliable, cost-effective solution. For certain types of projects, this also includes developing prototypes.
Step 4
Testing
With a plan in hand, our team will begin testing our solution to ensure it lives up to expectations. We make any needed adjustments at this phase and get the customer’s approval before the project goes into production.
Step 5
Execution
Once our customer is happy with the plan of attack, it’s time to make it happen. The ISS team delivers on our design by following our strict Quality Management System to ensure the finished product comes out exactly how it should, every single time.
Step 6
Evaluate
After we’ve finished a project, we like to discuss the outcome with the customer. Then we evaluate the project internally, identify wins and any areas for improvement. We take those findings and apply them to the next challenge. That’s how we ensure continuous improvement.
